Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive PSAT and SAT test preparation lessons tailored to individual student needs, focusing on core subjects such as Math, English, and Writing skills. Develop and implement effective lesson plans utilizing educational technology tools and online tutoring platforms to enhance learning experiences. Provide targeted ACT preparation guidance alongside SAT coaching to equip students with versatile test-taking skills. Foster a positive learning environment through classroom management techniques, encouraging active participation and student engagement. Assess student progress regularly through practice tests, quizzes, and assignments; adjust instruction accordingly to maximize improvement. Offer expert advice on test strategies, time management, and stress reduction techniques to improve overall test performance. Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement and effective communication with parents or guardians. Qualifications Proven experience working with high school students in a tutoring or classroom setting, particularly in test preparation courses for the PSAT, SAT, or ACT. Strong knowledge of standardized testing formats, question types, and scoring methods for the SAT, PSAT, and ACT exams. Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that aligns with test requirements while fostering critical thinking skills. Proficiency with online tutoring platforms, educational technology integration, and digital resources for remote instruction. Excellent presentation skills, lesson planning capabilities, and the ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning styles. Exceptional communication skills for working effectively with teenagers and providing clear guidance on test-taking strategies. Experience in classroom management and creating an engaging learning environment that motivates students to excel.
