We are seeking experienced and dedicated Special Education Teachers for a contract opportunity through the end of May. Two openings are available:

a full-time, in-person position (40 hours/week) working at a high school, and a flexible, part-time remote opportunity focusing on students placed in alternative settings. Caseloads are manageable, currently ranging from 21-22 students, ensuring you can provide focused, individualized support.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with high school students preferred Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs Strong communication and collaboration abilities Adaptability to work in both in-person and virtual settings Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments

Duties & Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver differentiated instruction based on student IEPs Monitor student progress and modify instructional methods accordingly Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings Support students in transition planning and life skills development Provide direct and consultative support, both on-site and virtually as assigned Why consider this role?
