Category Schools - Special Education Teacher - Telehealth Job Type Contract A virtual position is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in telehealth to provide targeted instruction in reading and writing for a student in need of specially designed support. This contract opportunity is based in Peterborough, NH, and offers a part-time, remote schedule catering to a flexible supplemental role.
Responsibilities include:
Deliver virtual reading and writing specially designed instruction aligned with the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Conduct 6 total 30-minute sessions weekly, with 4 dedicated to reading SDI and 2 to writing SDI Monitor and document student progress in accordance with IEP requirements Collaborate with school staff as necessary to support student outcomes Qualifications and experience: Active New Hampshire Special Education certification is required Experience with virtual instruction and/or expertise in reading and writing interventions is preferred Schedule details: Approximately 3 direct service hours per week Fully remote, enabling flexibility to meet scheduling needs This role offers a unique chance to provide meaningful educational support through telehealth while maintaining a manageable workload.
