Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students in a school setting as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired. This contract position, starting as soon as possible, is focused exclusively on evaluations. With one opening available, you'll play a vital role in assisting with functional vision and media assessments and conducting insightful classroom observations. The assignment is school-based and not virtual, ensuring hands-on engagement with students and educational teams.

Key Qualifications:

Active Illinois teaching license and certification required CTE (Career and Technical Education) endorsement necessary Demonstrated school-based experience, specifically with visually impaired students Skilled in conducting functional vision and media assessments Comfortable performing classroom observations Strong communication and reporting abilities Must be available for a 30-minute interview This opportunity is not available for virtual/remote participation

Primary Responsibilities:
