Key Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania teaching license required Valid PA PDE Certification Demonstrated experience supporting students in special education settings Skilled in IEP development, implementation, and collaboration In-person teaching required; remote/virtual work not available Proof of certification (via TIMS) must be provided
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide coverage for special education classrooms in Carbon and Lehigh Counties Substitute for absences and extended leaves as needed Adapt seamlessly to different classroom environments, collaborating with teaching teams Engage in ongoing IEP processes and ensure student support continuity Maintain effective communication with school leadership and staff Flexibly report to various locations and occasionally cover extended assignments
