Key Qualifications:

Current RI Special Education Certification for grades K-6 Experience supporting elementary students in special education settings Previous resource classroom background preferred Ability to quickly adapt and manage a caseload of 14 students, working with small groups of 4-5 at a time Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude

Responsibilities:

Provide direct instructional support to students in a K-6 resource classroom Manage a caseload of 14 students, working with small groups to meet individualized educational goals Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to facilitate inclusion and student progress Maintain IEP documentation, track progress, and communicate with families as needed
