Special Education Teacher - Central Falls, RI

Job Description

Qualifications:
Current Rhode Island SPED Certification is required Experience with individualized instruction and small group teaching is highly desirable Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues Familiarity with creating, implementing, and tracking progress on IEPs for elementary-aged students
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute lessons for students in 2nd or 3rd grade in accordance with their IEPs Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs, focusing on each child's unique strengths and challenges Maintain regular progress monitoring and documentation Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive support for students Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
