Key Qualifications:
Current Special Education Teacher certification Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Skilled in adapting instructional methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning needs Strong organizational abilities and creative problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues Familiarity with progress monitoring and data-driven instruction Previous experience in a school or equivalent educational setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver differentiated instruction tailored to each student's unique learning style and abilities Develop, review, and update IEPs in compliance with federal and state regulations Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of academic and behavioral data Employ a variety of instructional techniques, incorporating assistive technology and hands-on learning Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and independence Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student growth Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff collaborations, and ongoing professional development Experience the satisfaction of helping students overcome challenges and celebrate their successes in a supportive school community.
