Harmony Hill School is a private, non-profit organization providing residential care, day treatment and education services to male youths aged 8-18. Our K-12 school program is certified by the RI Department of Education. Our beautiful school campus is located in Glocester, RI, just a 20-30 minute commute from many towns in theRI/CT/MA
area. We're seeking experienced, like-minded Elementary Teachers to join us in the classroom. Lead your assigned classroom and focus on direct student instruction. Participate in planning and presenting individualized educational content. Work to cultivate student interest in learning, strengthen socioemotional skills and achieve learning objectives in a safe, engaging classroom setting. Experienced educators with a passion for helping vulnerable students - you will LOVE it here! New teachers with past direct care experience with behaviorally challenged youth will also THRIVE in this role! This is a full time, school-year based position working 35 hours/week. Rhode Island Teaching Certification (any level, any subject) is required. The salary scale for this position is $54,800 to $66,000 with the starting salary determined by degree, certification and previous teaching experience.TO APPLY
