Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' learning needs and determine appropriate supports. Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based instructional plans tailored to each student's IEP goals. Provide direct instruction and interventions to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are effectively integrated into classroom instruction. Attend and actively contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear reports and updates on student progress. Monitor student performance regularly, adjusting instructional strategies and supports as needed based on ongoing assessments and collaboration. Maintain accurate documentation, including IEPs, lesson plans, progress reports, and assessment records. Stay current with best practices, special education law, and instructional strategies through research and ongoing professional development.JOB PERKS
