Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education Teaching certification (as required by the state) Demonstrated experience working with students who have a range of learning, emotional, or physical disabilities Strong knowledge of IEP processes, instructional accommodations, and differentiated instruction strategies Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, general education teachers, and support staff Patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and regularly review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet students' unique learning requirements Adapt and deliver curriculum in ways that maximize students' strengths and foster academic as well as social development Collect data on student progress and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom culture where every student feels supported and respected Liaise regularly with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for each learner Why consider this contract role?
