Position Details:

Full-time contract from 10/16/26 to 1/15/27 Monday through Friday, 8:15am to 3:45pm (30-minute unpaid lunch) Work with approximately 8 elementary students Supported by three dedicated teaching assistants

What You'll Need:

Valid Rhode Island Special Education Teacher Certification Experience working with elementary-age children in special education settings Strong adaptability and classroom management skills Ability to collaborate smoothly with teaching assistants and other educational staff Commitment to fostering growth and inclusion for all students

Responsibilities:

Deliver instruction to elementary students with a range of abilities, modifying curriculum as needed Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate student records and document progress Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment Work closely with teaching assistants, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
