Job Description

Make an impact in the lives of students by supporting their unique learning needs in a dynamic educational environment. Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced Special Education professionals for the upcoming academic year. With three distinct roles at various schools and settings, you'll contribute to educational success across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Positions begin August 3, 2026 and extend through May 28, 2027, offering a full-time, onsite schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Assignments are available in intensive support at the elementary level as well as supplemental resource settings for both middle and high school students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current Special Education teaching certification required Previous experience in school-based special education preferred Knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and progress monitoring Ability to differentiate instruction in inclusive and resource classroom settings Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized education plans in accordance with state and federal guidelines Provide specialized instruction and interventions tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers Maintain accurate records and required documentation Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development Help create a supportive and structured classroom climate The contract offers the unique opportunity to expand your expertise while making meaningful connections with students and colleagues.
