r41782-29016 Job Description Special Education Teacher Moderate We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support students in a school-based setting. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about providing individualized instruction and helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.

Approximately 810 students

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support based on individual student needs Develop and implement effective instructional strategies and IEP goals Monitor and document student progress Collaborate with general education teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers Serve as the Special Education Case Manager for assigned students Develop, maintain, and monitor IEPs and ensure compliance with special education requirements Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment Support students in developing academic, behavioral, and functional skills

Qualifications:

Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Multi-categorical/Moderate Special education teaching experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs
