This contract opportunity offers three full-time positions for experienced and passionate Special Education Teachers eager to make a difference. Options are available in both resource and self-contained classroom settings, serving students in grades K-6. You'll be part of a dedicated team focused on collaborative approaches and personalized learning strategies.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification Prior experience in a K-6 educational setting preferred Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation Effective communication skills for working with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet individual student needs Proven classroom management and organization abilities Committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct instruction to students in resource or self-contained classrooms Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff Adapt and modify curriculum to support diverse learning styles and needs Assess student progress and make data-driven instructional decisions Foster positive student-teacher relationships and support social-emotional development Communicate regularly with families on student growth and goals Experience working with elementary-aged students in resource or self-contained settings will be especially valuable.
