9681326-29316 Job Description Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher in a thriving educational environment. Two exciting opportunities are available supporting K-12 learnersone role in a self-contained LD classroom at the middle school level, and another at the elementary level, with caseloads to be determined. Both positions are onsite, full-time (37.5 hours per week), within a supportive and collaborative school culture.

Key Qualifications:

Current South Carolina Special Education Teacher certification, or eligibility with pending status Experience working in K-12 special education settings, preferably with diverse learning needs Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Ability to adapt and modify instruction to meet individual student needs Passion for empowering students with disabilities to achieve their full potential

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique learning goals Manage a self-contained classroom (middle school) or work within an elementary setting, providing direct, small-group, or one-on-one instruction Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district regulations Collaborate closely with families, related service providers, and general education teachers to support student growth Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional success
