What You'll Bring:
Valid South Carolina teaching license (active status) Special Education degree and Early Childhood degree/certification for the EC PCD Teacher assignment SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement for Mild/Moderate ID Self-contained roles Previous experience in early childhood or K-3 special education settings preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Teaching and supporting preschool-aged students (3-4 years) in Positive Child Development (PCD) classroom settings Providing instruction and care in a K-3 self-contained classroom for students with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities Creating individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborating with other educational professionals and parents Monitoring progress, adapting instruction, and maintaining an organized, safe classroom environment Ensuring ongoing compliance with district and state guidelines for special education
Assignment Details:
