Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher license is required (emergency certifications are not accepted) Experience working with elementary or PreK-age students, especially those with autism, is highly valued Open to candidates with pending certifications Will accommodate both local and travel professionals Strong ability to adapt to varied learning needs and classroom dynamics Commitment to working onsite with students and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and growth Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to optimize each child's educational experience Conduct regular assessments and maintain thorough documentation of student progress Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet students' varied needs Provide behavioral support and work closely with paraprofessionals and aides as appropriate
