Key Qualifications:

Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching license with early childhood endorsements In-depth understanding of early intervention strategies and preschool special education best practices Experience designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong classroom management and adaptive instructional skills Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children with developmental delays Excellent communication skills for collaboration with families, colleagues, and support staff

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted, engaging instruction to preschool-aged children (age 3) identified with developmental delays (DD) Develop and execute IEPs that address each child's individual strengths and areas of need Collaborate with related service providers, classroom teams, and family members to ensure holistic support for each student Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom community Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as required Adapt lessons and activities to accommodate a range of abilities This is a full-time, onsite contract position, offering 37.5 hours per week in a supportive environment where your expertise will be valued and your impact, profound.
