We're seeking dedicated professionals for three full-time opportunities: a Resource Classroom (K-6), a Self-contained Classroom (K-6), and an additional K-6 Special Education teaching role. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid teaching certification as a Special Education Teacher Prior school-based experience working with students in grades K-6 preferred Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and staff Adept in developing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and maintaining compliance documentation Collaborative approach to working with general education teachers and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction designed to meet the unique needs of students with diverse abilities, either in a Resource or Self-contained classroom setting Develop and deliver creative, differentiated lessons aligned with students' IEP goals Assess student progress and make recommendations for instructional adjustments Facilitate meaningful communication with parents and participate in IEP meetings Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters respect and growth
