Job Description

Discover a rewarding opportunity as a Special Education Teacher working onsite with students in a supportive learning environment. This full-time contract role focuses on teaching a self-contained classroom for students with learning disabilities, allowing you to create meaningful educational experiences while fostering growth and confidence. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education, or certification pending Experience supporting students with learning disabilities, preferably in a self-contained classroom Strong classroom management skills and adaptable instructional techniques Commitment to providing individualized instruction and promoting student success Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues Ability and willingness to work onsite during the school day
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging instruction to students in a self-contained learning disabilities classroom Design and implement differentiated lesson plans aligned with IEP goals Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and student support teams Monitor and assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with special education regulations
