$150 SIGN-ON BONUS Monday-Friday 4 PM-6 PM Autism & Behavioral Experience Immediate Start From The Heart Home Care is hiring immediately for an experienced, dependable, and compassionate caregiver for a special needs child assignment in Gaffney, SC . This client has autism and may display aggressive or challenging behaviors , so we are specifically looking for a caregiver with previous special needs and behavioral-support experience . The right caregiver must be patient, confident, consistent, and able to remain calm while using appropriate redirection and following the client's established care plan. $150 SIGN-ON BONUS We are currently offering a $150 SIGN-ON BONUS for this position! Schedule Monday-Friday 4:00 PM-6:00 PM 10 Hours Per Week Experience Is Important for This Assignment This is not an entry-level special needs assignment . Applicants should have previous experience working with individuals with: Autism spectrum disorder Special needs/developmental disabilities Aggressive or challenging behaviors Behavioral redirection Structured routines and consistency The caregiver should be comfortable remaining calm, patient, and professional during behavioral episodes and following the client's established behavioral and safety strategies. Client Care & Responsibilities Provide attentive one-on-one care and supervision Actively engage and interact with the client Follow established routines and structure Provide appropriate and consistent redirection Support positive behaviors and communication Recognize potential triggers and follow established strategies Maintain a calm approach during challenging behaviors Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as needed Encourage appropriate independence Maintain a safe and structured environment Follow the client's established plan of care Communicate behavioral concerns or changes appropriately with the family and office What We're Looking For Special needs caregiving experience required Experience with autism required Experience working with aggressive/challenging behaviors strongly preferred Comfortable with behavioral redirection and structured routines Patient, calm, confident, and consistent Dependable, punctual, and reliable Compassionate and respectful Able to actively engage with the client rather than simply supervise Must have your own reliable personal vehicle Must be able to reliably commute to Gaffney, SC
