The position will begin as soon as possible and extend through the end of the school year, allowing you to guide your students through a period of vital learning and progress. You'll be working with a small caseload—currently fewer than 10 students—offering the opportunity for focused, individualized instruction. Please note, there is potential for the caseload to change if the program is combined with grades K-4; you'll be kept updated should any adjustments occur.

Qualifications:

Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License Experience or strong interest in early childhood special education Dedication to creating inclusive, nurturing classroom environments Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexibility and adaptability as program needs evolve

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to preschool student needs Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to foster every child's learning Foster a collaborative classroom culture that celebrates each student's strengths Communicate regularly with families, support staff, and related service providers Track progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory and district requirements
