9601189-29653 Job Description An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to make a difference in a vibrant elementary school environment. Working alongside two experienced special education colleagues, this role focuses on supporting K4-5th grade students in an extended resource/self-contained classroom setting. Some students will be with you all day, while others will join for targeted instruction in ELA and/or math. A skilled classroom assistant will be there to support your efforts, allowing you to create an inclusive and structured learning atmosphere for approximately 8-12 students. This is a high-priority role for the upcoming school year, running from July 17 through June 2. Your expertise will help shape students growth and create an environment where every learner is valued and supported.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in resource/self-contained settings Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP implementation Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families Ability to adapt, problem-solve, and foster a positive classroom climate Familiarity with inclusive teaching methods and co-teaching models is a plus

Responsibilities:
