Key Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience or comfort working in a self-contained, multi-categorical classroom preferred Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Dedication to creating engaging, differentiated instruction for diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction to students in grades 35 with a range of learning needs Manage a classroom of up to 11 students, adapting lessons and materials as needed Develop and document IEPs, tracking student progress against established goals Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to optimize every childs success Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings Create a safe, encouraging environment that emphasizes social-emotional growth alongside academic achievement
