September 25, 2026 Face-to-face only 3 classroom assistants available to support the classroom Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students' IEPs. Provide specialized academic and functional instruction in a self-contained setting. Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers. Implement positive behavioral and classroom management strategies. Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with classroom assistants and other school staff to support student success. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching certification or eligibility for certification. Experience working with students with moderate to significant support needs is a plus Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team. Why Birch Agency?
