This contract opportunity seeks dedicated Special Education Teachers eager to support learners across multiple school sites in the Lancaster, SC area. Positions are available at elementary, middle, high school, and PreK classrooms, each offering unique opportunities to make a lasting impact.

Desired Qualifications:

Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License with Multi-Categorical or appropriate certifications Prior experience working in special education settings, including resource rooms or self-contained classrooms Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to nurture and motivate diverse learners Excellent communication and organizational abilities EC certification or appropriate endorsement required Flexibility to work onsite across multiple school locations

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students in moderate or special settings, including co-taught and self-contained resource rooms Develop, implement, and adjust IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic, social, and emotional growth Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with district guidelines Participate actively in professional development and team meetings
