Assignments span elementary, middle, high school, and PreK environments, all within a supportive and varied school community.

What We're Looking For:

Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License with Multi-Categorical or the required certifications. Endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education (EC Cert) for PreK placement. Recent experience in Special Education, preferably in both self-contained and co-taught settings. Flexibility to work onsite at multiple school sites. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to work with students across elementary, middle, high school, and PreK. Ability to submit a blinded resume, copies of certifications, and indicate preferred age group(s) for assignment consideration. Availability to provide current, within-present interview times.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored instruction and direct support to students in Special Setting 2 Moderate classrooms, Co-taught resource environments, Multi-categorical self-contained rooms, and PreK special education programs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Collaborate effectively with general educators, paraprofessionals, and support staff to foster student success. Employ a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs. Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions.
