Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License, including Multi-category or relevant endorsements/certifications Experience adapting instruction in settings ranging from moderate, self-contained classrooms to co-taught resource environments Familiarity with best practices for supporting diverse learners in PreK, elementary, middle, or high school age groups Ability to deliver evidence-based interventions and modify curriculum as needed Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Position Overview & Responsibilities:

Provide direct special education services onsite across multiple school locations Potential assignments may involve: Elementary (8:30-3:35) in moderate settings or co-taught/resource rooms Middle School (7:30-2:45) in multi-category, self-contained environments High School (8:30-3:35) in moderate/special settings PreK (7:30-2:00) requiring EC certification/endorsement Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), track student progress, and contribute to IEP meetings Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that facilitates learning for all students Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, families, and administrators Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education Contract runs from ASAP through May 28, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 35-37.5 hours on onsite assignment (virtual/VOCO considered closer to school start).
