Holds or is eligible for

South Carolina Special Education Teacher Certification:

Multi-categorical (PKGrade 12) Brings experience with the IEP process, including development and implementation of IEP goals Comfortable working in person and adhering to the traditional school day and year schedule

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and behavioral support to elementary students in a specialized classroom setting Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to design effective intervention strategies for a diverse group of learners Develop, update, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), maintaining compliance and documentation Communicate regularly with families, fostering a positive and supportive partnership Model positive behaviors and implement evidence-based techniques to help students achieve academic and social success

Role Details:
