Job Description
Supplemental Health Care is seeking licensed Special Education Teachers for multiple Special Education contract opportunities within a partnering school districts in Moncks Corner and in Varnville, South Carolina. These positions support students across elementary, middle, and high school settings in a variety of special education programs.
Available Assignments:
Grades K-5: MDL, Cross Categorical, Resource Co-Teacher, MSD, MSSD Grades 6-8: ED COPE Grades K-2: Cross Categorical Grades 9-12: Resource Co-Teacher, Cross Categorical, ED COPE Grades 6-8:
Resource Co-Teacher Contract Details:
Paying $44 to $48 an hour
Contract Dates:
August 5, 2026 through June 4, 2027
Schedule:
Approximately 6:30 AM to 2:30
PM Hours:
7.5 hours/day | 37.5 hours/week
Qualifications:
Active South Carolina Educator License Special Education Certification required Multi-Categorical certification preferred and may qualify candidates for multiple openings For PSSC positions, Developmental Delay certification is typically preferred For COPE positions, Emotional Disability certification is typically preferred Candidates with pending licenses will not be considered PACE and CAP candidates will not be considered Must meet all South Carolina licensure and certification requirements prior to start Why SHC Education?
