This contract opportunity covers the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 5, 2026, and concluding June 4, 2027. With a 37.5-hour workweek, youll contribute to a supportive and dynamic learning environment, collaborating with dedicated educators. Multiple caseload and grade options are available, including positions at the elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school levels. Positions may range from K-5 Preschool/MSD/Resource/Co-Teach, 6-8 Cross Categorical Self-Contained, to 9-12 Resource/ED COPE placements. Qualifications:

Valid South Carolina Special Education Teaching License (excluding Teachers for Tomorrow certification) Experience supporting students with diverse needs in inclusive, self-contained, or resource settings Strong communication skills for partnership with families, colleagues, and support staff Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, accommodations, and behavior plans Commitment to creating a nurturing, equitable classroom and school community Willingness to work onsite; remote placements are not available for this position
