Job Description

Epic Special Education Staffing seeks a Special Education Teacher for the school year to support K-12 students with diverse learning needs. In this role, you will design and deliver specialized instruction, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and families. You will use data-driven practices, accommodations, and assistive technology to promote student growth and inclusion. Responsibilities Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with disabilities aligned to IEP goals. Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs in collaboration with families and school teams. Conduct assessments and progress monitoring, maintaining accurate documentation and reports. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and school staff to support inclusive practices. Implement evidence-based behavior management and classroom management strategies. Use assistive technology and accommodations to support diverse learning needs. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet varied learning levels and disabilities. Maintain compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and district policies. Engage in ongoing professional development supported by Epic Special Education Staffing.
