Job Description

Make a significant impact in the lives of middle school students by providing essential support in a resource room environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for special education professionals who are passionate about empowering learners with diverse needs. As a Special Education Teacher, you'll work full-time, helping students grow academically and personally within a supportive school setting.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification. Experience with middle school-aged students preferred. Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide targeted instruction and interventions for students with IEPs in a resource room setting. Develop lesson plans tailored to individual student goals. Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers. Monitor student progress, document data, and adjust strategies as needed. Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings. Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student independence.

Position Details:

Full-time contract position. Middle School Resource Room.

Schedule:
