Job Description

Special Education Teacher delivering individualized instruction to students with disabilities for a 36-week contract in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Responsible for developing lesson plans, collaborating with educators and families, and monitoring progress to meet IEP goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities according to IEP goals. Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and parents to support student success. Create and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs. Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely updates to stakeholders. Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.

Qualifications:

Valid teaching license and resume required. 1 year minimum teaching experience. Strong communication, patience, and adaptability. Physical ability to engage with students actively. Background check required.
