Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students in grades K-6 as a Special Education Teacher in a resource, push-in, and pull-out setting. Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification (SC or eligible if working toward reciprocity) Experience with K-6th grade students preferred Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, IEP development, and progress monitoring Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Effective classroom management and communication skills Passion for empowering students with diverse learning needs

What You'll Do:

Deliver individualized and small group instruction in resource, push-in, and pull-out environments Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Track academic and behavioral progress, adapting strategies to best support each student Maintain clear communication with parents, teachers, and administration Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth Utilize paraeducator assistance to enhance instructional effectiveness and student engagement
