9681326-29301 Job Description Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher. We're seeking dedicated professionals to fill two full-time contract positions supporting students at both the middle and elementary school levels. Your expertise will help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for learners with diverse needs. As a key member of the educational team, you will collaborate with school staff, create effective individualized education plans, and deliver tailored instruction. Both roles are onsite only and offer 37.5 hours per week. One opportunity is at a middle school in a self-contained learning disabilities (LD) classroom, while the other serves an elementary school setting with caseloads to be determined.

Qualifications:

Valid South Carolina Special Education Teacher certification, or documentation showing pending state certification Proven experience in special education settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet individual student needs Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Passion for creating an inclusive classroom environment

Responsibilities:
