This contract opportunity runs from August 6th through May 28th and is perfect for a passionate Special Education Teacher ready to make a meaningful impact. You will work with an engaging caseload of approximately 35 students in grades 6 through 8, delivering individualized instruction and collaborating closely with teachers and families. The daily schedule offers consistent hours from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, providing valuable structure to your workday.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification (appropriate for middle school level) Experience creating and implementing IEPs for students in grades 68 Strong classroom management and adaptable instruction skills Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment Proven teamwork and communication skills with colleagues and families

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to varied learning needs Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Facilitate IEP meetings and effectively communicate student progress Advocate for student success both in and out of the classroom
