Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as a Special Education Teacher (or eligibility for certification) Experience with or strong interest in working in self-contained classrooms Ability to adapt instruction for mild to moderate disabilities Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills Flexibility to work with a range of grade levels (K-8)
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction to students in grades 3-6 (currently), with possible support for K-8 Collaborate with 4 classroom aides and dedicated ABA support Develop and implement IEP goals in a self-contained classroom Monitor and document student progress Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
