Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate special education programs aligned with state and federal regulations to ensure high-quality services for students with disabilities Supervise and support teaching staff, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development opportunities Collaborate with school administrators, parents, and external agencies to coordinate individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure compliance with all legal requirements Lead team meetings to promote effective communication, share best practices, and foster a collaborative working environment Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining student records using educational administrative software and preparing reports for district or state agencies Oversee staff scheduling, training sessions, and resource allocation to optimize program efficiency and effectiveness Engage in curriculum development tailored to meet diverse student needs while integrating innovative teaching strategies Qualifications Higher education teaching experience with a strong background in early childhood education or school experience Demonstrated expertise in education administration, including school administrative director responsibilities and personnel management in education settings Proven track record of team leadership, staff supervision, and program development within a school or higher education environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and educational administrative software tools Experience working with students with disabilities or special needs in childcare or early childhood education centers is highly desirable Exceptional writing skills for report writing, documentation, and communication purposes Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced educational setting Join us in shaping an inclusive educational environment where every student can thrive!
