$43-49 per hour (Based on Experience)Special Education Teacher Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and growth. Providing differentiated instruction and adapting teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. Assessing and monitoring student progress, documenting achievements, and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborating with other teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure effective communication and coordination of services. Utilizing a variety of instructional techniques, materials, and resources to enhance student learning and engagement. Incorporating assistive technology and adaptive equipment as needed to facilitate student participation and independence. Monitoring and addressing students' social-emotional development, behavior management, and self-regulation skills.Special Education Teacher Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Holds or is eligible for a teaching license, with an endorsement in the appropriate subject area. Demonstrates knowledge of subject content, specialized curriculum, and individualized methodologies for effective teaching tailored to diverse learning needs. Skilled in the use of multi-media and assistive technology to enhance learning for students with diverse needs. Able to establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships with students, colleagues, administrators, and parents. Demonstrates skill in oral and written communications and excellent human relations skills.Special Education Teacher Benefits:
