The ideal candidate will have experience in special needs patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADL's), and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our client.

•This role involves working closely with clients who may have developmental disabilities, memory care needs, or require assistance due to limitations. Duties Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and light housekeeping. Monitor and document vital signs and overall health status of clients. Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations. Engage client in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light cleaning duties. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements Previous experience in home health, special needs care, or long-term care settings is preferred. Familiarity with care giving techniques for individuals with autism, or developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Knowledge of meal preparation and cooking for dietary needs is beneficial. Understanding care plans and direct support services is advantageous.

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
