Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teaching license/certification for South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain) Bachelors degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Adaptable and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet varying needs and abilities Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents for comprehensive student support Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining detailed records Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment
