It happens because every person on the team carries it. We are hiring our first Community Care Specialist at Compass Heights in Hixson, TN. About the Role The Community Care Specialist is the dedicated specialist responsible for the physical condition of the community across the spaces residents actually experience, and for the Compass+ resident services that bring that same care directly into resident homes.

Your scope includes:

• Cleaning of community amenity spaces: the pool house interior, the leasing office, the Building A and Building C laundry rooms, the one bedroom model apartment home, the two bedroom mini model, and the tour walking path.
• Cleaning of breezeways across the community.
• Deep cleaning of every move-out and turn apartment home before the next resident arrives.
• Compass+ in-home cleaning service for residents enrolled in the package.
• Compass+ valet laundry service for residents enrolled: pickup, wash, dry, fold, and return to the resident's door.
• Valet trash pickup on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

This is not a janitorial role. It is a hospitality role that happens to involve cleaning and laundry handling. Residents will see you. They will know your name. The way you carry yourself is the way Compass shows up in their daily life. The Schedule Preferred schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Twenty hours per week. The schedule can flex for the right person, with changes discussed in advance with the Community Lead. Compensation

• $18.00 per hour, paid hourly as a part-time W-2 employee.
• All cleaning supplies, gloves, and closed-toed shoes provided.
• Three Compass Communities navy polos provided as your uniform.
• On-site residency is preferred.

For the right person, Compass will negotiate a discounted rent on an apartment home at Compass Heights. The discounted rent is structured as a rent reduction on your lease, separate from your hourly wage. Growth Path The position has the potential to grow into a full-time role as Compass+ resident services scale and the resident base grows. The path from part-time to full-time is earned through certification, performance, and the growth of residents who subscribe to Compass+. Who We Are Looking For The right person for this role is:
