As our school grows we are actively seeking floating teachers to provide support in our infant through pre k classrooms. Ability to be flexible and adapt to different age ranges is essential to success in this position. Experience is a plus but we are willing to train. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Floating between classrooms to provide support Assisting with lesson plan prep and or classroom prep Ability to work individually and as part of a team Snack prep Substituting as needed in classrooms Providing support to manage classrooms as needed Key Responsibilities when in a
Classroom:
Classroom Support
  • Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing lesson plans and daily activities.
  • Help prepare classroom materials and learning centers.
  • Support and supervise children during structured and unstructured play.
  • Observe and report children's progress and behaviors to the lead teacher.
  • Be able to step in for the lead teacher should they be absent. Classroom Management
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Assist with routines such as meals, diapering, toileting, and rest time.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, QA, and NECPA regulations.
  • Ensure Tadpoles is kept updated throughout each day. Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff in the classroom.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development days. Family Engagement
  • Build positive relationships with the families of the students.
  • Communicate basic updates with parents as needed by the lead teacher.
Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$11.00 - $13.00 per hour
