Qualifications:

Current Tennessee Special Education Teaching certification with a 461 endorsement (comprehensive required) Demonstrated understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and best practices in special education Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to create engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to diverse student needs Collaborative mindset and adaptability within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to students based on IEPs Assess, monitor, and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers Engage with families and guardians to support students educational goals Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that encourages academic and social growth Youll begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year, working Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $35 to $40 per hour, paid weekly.
