Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic PreK Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for working with children will help foster a love of learning, while your expertise in curriculum development and classroom management ensures each child's individual needs are met. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the critical early years of childhood. Responsibilities Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and social interaction. Manage daily classroom activities, behavior management strategies, and routines to promote positive behavior and emotional well-being. Assess children's developmental progress through observations, standardized testing, and documentation to tailor instruction effectively. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and child development milestones. Qualifications Prior classroom experience in preschool or early childhood education settings is a plus. knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate math, physical education, childcare practices, and social-emotional learning.
