9688971-37760 Job Description Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students in grades 38 as a Special Education Teacher in a vibrant learning community near Jefferson City, TN. Youll work closely with a caseload of 23 students, making a considerable impact by providing tailored instruction and support. This full-time position starts as soon as possible and runs through May 2027, giving you a chance to foster growth and achievement over multiple school years.

Qualifications:

Active and valid 461 TN SPED License required Prior experience in classroom settings or with students requiring special education services appreciated Strong communication and organizational skills Dedication to differentiated instruction and collaborative teamwork Ability to create and track individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver instruction adapted to the needs of students with diverse learning profiles Develop and maintain IEPs in collaboration with support staff, families, and other educators Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement Track student progress, provide regular updates, and implement interventions as needed Engage with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for each students educational journey Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and interdisciplinary collaboration
