A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

In this dynamic role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students after school hours. Responsibilities Supervise children during afterschool hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement first aid protocols promptly in case of minor injuries and maintain accurate incident reports Support children with homework assistance Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages creativity, safety, and inclusivity Experience Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings Demonstrated classroom management skills Certification in first aid and CPR (school will offer Certifications) Experience with special education needs a plus Join us in shaping bright futures!
