Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role supporting students with diverse learning needs in a contract position as a Moderate to Severe Special Education Teacher. You'll work in a vibrant educational environment located just southeast of Nashville, serving as a key part of a collaborative team. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year. Your expertise and compassion will ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive. Your day-to-day work will center on supporting a caseload of 22 students on IEPs and 28 students on 504 plans, crafting and delivering individualized instruction and working closely with families and fellow educators.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active 461 Certification required (Moderate to Severe Special Education) Previous experience in a special education classroom setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP and 504 Plan implementation Ability to develop differentiated instruction to meet varied student needs Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:
